The expression of the grape

The interpretation of our landscape.

This “Marc” or “Orujo,” is made from the distillation of the grape pomace or residue left after pressing the grapes. The specific aromas of each variety are concentrated in the skin of the grape and are distilled, revealing all this expressiveness. Marc Mascaró ages in French oak barrels to achieve a rounded and velvety end.

Elaboration

Static ageing: 3 years in French oak barrels.

ABV: 42%.

Sugar: 4 gr./l.

Harmonies

As a digestif and in the preparation of desserts and cocktails.

Tasting note

Aspect: Golden pale yellow with greenish highlights, clean and bright.

Nose: Intense aroma, with nuances of white fruit, spicy background, and nuts.

Palate: Dry and full of flavour, with creamy notes and a touch of wood. The base is of a good spirits with a long and pleasant end.
